Starbucks Billy Bob is a 2005 triple registered (AQHA, APHA, and IEGR) PERLINO DUN stallion (double dilute).

His color genetics are E/e A/A Cr/Cr D/n...translation - He is homozygous for agouti and cannot throw a smoky black or brown foal; he is homozygous for cream and will always dilute your mare's base color in a foal, meaning NO SORREL or BAY foals; and he also carries dun factor, which may further lighten and apply dorsal stripe and dun markings on your foals.

What are color probabilities when breeding to Starbucks Billy Bob?

On a black/brown/bay mare, probabilities are:

43.75% -
Dunskin
43.75% -
Buckskin
6.25% -
Palomino
6.25% -
Dunalino

On a chestnut/sorrel mare, probabilities are:

25.00% -
Palomino
25.00% -
Dunskin
25.00% -
Dunalino
25.00% -
Buckskin

* NOTE:  Gray horses carry 50/50 chance of throwing their gray gene on the base colors above.  Any dilute mare (buckskin or palomino) adds the possibility of a double dilute foal, i.e., cremello or perlino.

Starbucks Billy Bob is being offered for the first time to outside mares in 2011, with current bookings of 24 mares in his first year.  His first foal is an amazing dunskin from a sorrel mare, with vibrant dorsal stripe and zebra markings on legs and tail.  This colt is perfect in conformation and attitude and a direct reflection of Starbuck Billy Bob's quality breeding.

We took our time in breeding and offering this stallion to the public, with the desire to first have him riding and trained with a good attitude and personality to reproduce on his foals.  He has been raised naturally in pasture and broken at age 3 to ride like a Cadillac to leg pressure, rein, turn, spin, and stop with little effort.  Billy Bob's nature under saddle has allowed him to be used as a lesson horse from time to time, as well as being ridden by riders as young as 11 years old.
